Norwegian scientists evaluated the lifestyles of over 50,000 adults. When they evaluated those with a good sense of humor, they uncovered an astounding 27% reduction in the risk of death. Those with lower scores on the Sense of Humor Questionnaire were at significantly higher risk of premature death.
Laughter is reported to have several positive benefits, including improved cardiovascular health, reduced stress and enhanced immune strength. All these benefits drive longevity.
